BEAT SHEET FOR SALT FREEWAY SEQUENCE - Scenes 102/103/104

Salt being pursued by Peabody and two Secret Service Agents races away from the Smithsonian Museum towards the Freeway as she stops on an over pass she sees Peabody about to fire at her. Peabody fires as she jumps over the rail onto the Freeway below landing on a passing Semi trailer. (I think the bullet should graze her check and ear causing disfiguration to the ear) Salt land on the trailer of a passing Semi truck. Salt lands and rolls back along the rooftop of the trailer just managing to hang on. Various traveling shots of Salt on the trailer passing the Capitol building Left to Right in the background. Then the truck starts to move across the freeway to the right-hand lane to exit at 6th Street. As the truck approaches the exit ramp Salt sees a roadblock being formed at the bottom of the ramp. Salt react quickly and just as the truck leaves the freeway she leaps across to a passing semi but this time just catching the side of the trailer and she drops down dragging along the road beside the trailer (we have to look at trailers & loads to find a flat bed with a load that suits this action). Salt manages to climb back up to the roof of the trailer/load and as she looks ahead she sees a road block in the distance being set up on the freeway and the traffic ahead is all red brake lights as it starts to slow down. Salt looks behind her and sees cop cars screaming along towards her with all their bubble gum lights and sirens blazing. Salt quickly “Surfs” across the freeway from vehicle to vehicle moving from the right hand lane to the far left hand lane by the central barrier, she then leaps across the barrier onto the roof of a passing RV which is going in the opposite direction. We now see salt passing the Capitol building Right to Left with the cop cars that were chasing her passing Left to right in the foreground.
Salt is now going back the way she came and she looks ahead to see Peabody & Co on an over pass taking dead aim at her with their weapons. Salt rips off the skylight of the RV and drops inside just as Peabody and Co open fire. We now have an interior sequence with the RV being shredded with salt taking cover beneath the granite counter, which shatter’s under the onslaught of bullets. (We can have some fun here with the driver wearing his iPod headphones completely oblivious to the racket behind him- or- however else we want to play it)
The RV with Salt inside it passes beneath the overpass that Peabody and Co are firing from, they run across to the other side to continue firing but the RV has passed beneath another overpass and is blocked. Inside the RV the incoming firepower ceases and Salt kicks open the RV door and bails out onto the cement. Salt lands at the intersection by L’Enfant Plaza and rolls amongst swerving cars on a slipway leading off the freeway. Salt lands, rolls, gets to her feet and sprints along side of the divider on the slipway. In the background Peabody is now approaching fast in a car and he drives along the other side of the road divider, he over takes Salt and cuts in front of her forcing her to turn and run into an adjacent building - into Scene 105
